Chanel Spring 2010 Couture Introduce Us to a Space Age
Oh for the love of Walt Disney, Chanel’s Spring 2010 Couture collection was Lagerfeld’s way of expressing his true love for our dearest, Mini Mouse. Model’s hair were shift high, shaping the form of the characters huge ears, and then topped off in the center, with cute, someembroided , frilly bows. The collection was a mix up of several brilliant inspirations, Karl kept in mind from futurism, and romanticism. I found the collection of being minimal, but not minimal in the aspect of his use of an all white collection, which here and there included silver pastels, and splashes of exuberant jade, yellows, baby blues, and pinks. The silver booties, styled with each jacket, mini, and or gown alike, maintained the collections edge, symbolizing through every tweeded jacket and skirt ( in which some may call, old or granny clothing) lies that youth, delivering the message that the luxurious fashion house will always remain timeless, and made for women of every age. Lagerfeld, I don’t know what goes on in that magnificent brain of yours, but your brilliant. A remarkable, remarkable collection he displayed for Spring 2010 couture.
